cowardiceandsandwiches asked: I've disagreed with you a lot on filmmaking things but it doesn't make you wrong. And it certainly doesn't make me dislike you. Always remember, art is subjective. The other person could be wrong instead. And you've got to have to confidence to believe you are right if you ever want to make anyone else believe it.

Just came back from an evening spent in the company of a soon-to-be feature filmmaker. Colin Kennedy is his name, and he works at Sigma films, a Glasgow-based filmmaking company (they produced such films as Hallam Foe, Perfect Sense, and Red Road). Had some really good time, great conversation, great atmosphere, loads of inspiration and useful advice. It was great, as you can already tell.
